Finally after all these years of flying in and out of Houston Intercontinental, it was not a smoggy day in Houston and I was able to get a clear view of Downtown Houston. Landing at Houston Intercontinental on a Continental Express Embraer ERJ-145. You will also see some Continental Connection Saab 340 at the terminal.

Wheres the Fire?!? Now, Ive taking a lot of flights in my life, but this has to be the fastest taxi I have ever been on. Any faster and we hit V1. Here we are on an ERJ-145 in Houston taxing to the runway. I had to pull the camera out as I have never seen a plane taxi so fast!

This is a landing with my least favorite airline: Continental. Even worse, it’s Continental “Express”, their excuse to shove people on uncomfortable regional jets. In this video, I show a landing with unusually low cloud cover, and highlights of our nearly 10 minute taxi. I also show the “plane bridges”.
