This is one of the wierdest ways I’ve come in at Houston IAH as we land on runway 9R on US Airways B737-400. Also you can see a Continental B737 also land as we are coming in landing on runway 8R. In addition you can see a ton of Continental planes getting ready to take off as well as an Emirates B777 Video was stopped short due to my memory being all used up on my camera.

This video was taken around 9:00am on Friday October 2nd 2009 on Emirates flight 211 from Dubai to Houston. This flight is over 16 hours in duration on the Boeing long range 777. On this flight, I was sitting in an aisle seat in the middle section, so I had to rely on the nose camera to see most of the takeoff. In this video, you can also hear the onboard announcements after takeoff.

You can see the takeoff from the onboard video camera that you can watch on your personal screen. This is one of the longest east-bound flights in that it lasts 15 hours 30 minutes. The onboard service as great.

Tapes released by federal officials detail efforts by an airline pilot to allow passengers off his stranded plane. The pilot of this commercial flight did his best to get the people off the plane, but airline officals are to blame. They screwed up big time.

Passengers on an ExpressJet flight are forced to spend the night on the plane after an unexpected stop. KARE reports. They were forced to stay on the plane, when the airline decided they did not want to pay (Overtime) for another crew to replace the original crew. Continental Airlines flight stuck on runway all night.
Continental told the passengers that they (could not) leave the aircraft and would have to wait for the replacement crew. The original crew had flown the maxium hours allowed under the law.

Passengers sit for nine hours on a tarmac in Minnesota. CNN’s Kyra Phillips interviews Kate Hanni from flyersrights.org. A USA Today study showed that from Oct. 08 to May 09 - 577 planes sat on the ground for 3 hours or more!
That is 200,000 passengers stuck in on the tarmack!!! Nothing will ever change for the better - (Until) we the American public join together and force the government and businesses to do what is right.
