How much is a basic flight to houston from atlanta?

i need to know how much a flight is from Atlanta to houston or vise versa ?

There are huge variations, depending on when you want to travel. You get the lowest price if you travel outside business customers prime times, in low season, if you spend a night between Saturday and Sunday and if you book more than 21 days ahead of time.

Check Expedia.com or Orbitz.com with various times and dates.

How long to recheck bags in Houston IAH?

Hi everybody,

I will be traveling from Europe to Cancun via Houston IAH and I will be flying with 2 different and non-partner airlines. This means I will have to recheck all my luggage to get on the 2nd flight.

I have been reading comments about the IAH airport and I have understood the following so far:
- Flying in with Air France I should be arriving at Terminal D.
- Flying out with Continental Airlines (to Cancun) I should be leaving from Terminal E
- IAH is a big airport, "Texas size" as some described it so you should plan enough time to go from one terminal to another (even using the internal train)
- I am not sure where the baggage claim area is… one for each terminal or a central one (if so where is it located?) ?

Now taking into account all that my question is:
How long should I plan to get through the baggage-claim / recheck / security check process so that I will be in time for the second flight?

International Flights come into D or E. Air France is a partner with continental so there is a chance you could land from your European flight terminal E. You should allow time to get through customs as well as re-check bags. The international flights have their own baggage claim and re-check area, so this will save you some time. I would still allow at least 6 hours between the flights. It should only take a couple hours to make a flight change, but you do not want to run into trouble if your Europe leg gets delayed. IAH has a number of restaurants, shops, and even wifi available (wifi does have a fee though). It is not a bad airport to be caught in. Also you should be able to walk from D to E or E to D easily; there is no need to take the inter-terminal train.

Does anybody know how I can get some help with medical transportation to Pennsylvania from Texas? pls help ER!

My grandfather and I came to Texas to visit his mother who is 89, on March 5th. We were on our way to Houston airport to go home on March 20th and he had respitory failure and was immediately put on a ventilator. Since then the DRs have tried to ween him off. It has been determined his will be vent dependent. The problem is he wants to go home and the cost is $16,000. Thru the past 3 1/2 months I've been here with him our funds are exahuasted and we don't have the money. I am now researching charitable organizations and I'm not getting anywhere. If we can't get him home he wants us to pull the plug and let him die…but if we can get him home he wants to live. So I am in a desparate situation and praying for a miracle. If there is anything anybody can think of or recommend, please do once again I'm desparate and he's stranded.

well if he is suffering then do what he wishes… now im sad!!

HELP I need to book a cheap flight from Houston to Los Angeles?

I need to book a flight from Houston to Los Angeles 7/10 to 7/14 but everything is so expensive now and i dont know how i can find cheaper flights ANY help would be very appricated

Try Priceline as they offer great deals on flights. You can choose your own airline, date and flight. You can save more with Name Your Price, last minute deals and prices are dropping inside track, check internet for details.

My suggestions: compare airlines, flight times, dates, is it cheaper to fly certain time of the day, weekends or during the week (it might make a difference leaving a few days earlier or later) and non-stop flights. Another good tip is to shop & compare Priceline’s website with the Airline’s Website.

I hope that helps and answers your question. Have a safe flight.

Continental 737 departing Houston

Continental Airlines Boeing 737-300 (N10323) departing from Bush Intercontinental in Houston on April 12, 2007. I had booked myself on Northwest for this particular trip to get a ride on a couple of DC9’s, but my IAH-MEM leg was cancelled and I ended up on the Continental flight I normally take when going to Pittsburgh.

What’s the best way to get to the IAH in Houston? (I don’t want to drive my car.)?

How much would a taxi cost from downtown?
Any friends or family who can drop you off? When my wife and I travel, either my folks or various friends drop us off and pick us up (a week parked at Park N Fly is expensive and I’m from a family of tightwads). When friends or family travel, we often drop them at the airport.

We always use Lane Towne Car & Limousine.  The price is right, they’ve always been on time and the cars are non smoking which is important to my wife because of her smoke alergy.  Their phone number is 281-353-2055 and they are on the web but I can’t remember the web address.  Their email is info@lanelimo.com.
